Meet The Team
"We are all excited to begin this journey with our Little Explorers"

Denise - Nursery Manager
Hi, I'm Denise, the Nursery manager at Little Explorers. I have worked in Early Years for 27 years and have been Nursery manager for the last 12 years. Before this I was Deputy Manager for 15 years. I bring with me a wealth of knowledge and experience.
I have NVQ Level 3 in childcare. My passion is early childhood and I am committed to ensuring that every child in our care receives the best possible start in life. I am married and have two daughters, a 17 year old who attends college and a 12 year old in high school.
In my spare time I like to spend time with my family, taking our dog Buddy on walks and to the beach in Wales.

Amy - Level 3 Nursery Practitioner
Hi, I'm Amy and I am a Nursery Practitioner here at Little Explorers.
I have Level 3 in childcare and have worked in Early Years for 10 years. I love working with children, watching them grow and find this the most rewarding part. My favourite thing to do with the children is messy play!
I love to create new ways that children can develop their senses.
I have three children, 2 girls who are both in high school and a little boy who has just started reception in Primary School. I also have two cats and a dog. I love to be outdoors and walk and spend time with my family.

Gemma - Teacher
Hi, I'm Gemma and I'm a Teacher at Little Explorers.
I have a degree in Psychology and a Postgraduate in Early Years Teaching. I began my career working in a library, taking class visits and teaching IT. This then led me into a teaching assistant role in reception and then working within a nursery.
For the last 7 years I have been a volunteer swimming coach. I am a mum of two boys in high school and a little girl who is about to start year 1 in Primary School. I have 2 dogs, 2 chickens a Gecko and lots of Canaries!

Becky - Teacher
Hi, I'm Becky and I'm one of the Teachers at Little Explorers.
I hold a Dual Honours Degree in Sport Science and Dance and a Post Graduate in Teaching. My career started in the sports hall, teaching Early Years and KSI PE lessons followed by a teaching assistant role and eventually reception teacher in a Primary School.
I am a mum of 2 boys who are both now in High School and a dog mum to a 1 year old French Bulldog. Due to this, I enjoy a loud classroom and I'm not afraid of getting messy with paints, glue and play dough!
